    Nov 24 08:: I DIED.

      I know I haven't been around much, but recently I took part in a photoshoot and I was one of the models. (Really weird, I know)

      Well I'm doing a plug (just wanted to) and so you can check out the photos. The other models are soo pretty >_< I look like I chugged down some nasty drug and ran over a poor guy :(

      But yeah, the photos of me are the ones with "Kristie" in the title~

Lol, "vectors" on a bitmap canvas :P I never really masted Adobe Illustrator (the interface frustrates me) so I do these "vectors" on Photoshop and cheat a bit. Mastered the pen tool, though >:3
Just takes a bit of practice lol - it took me several months, but that was a LONG time ago...

ohh teach me great one!~ haha , do you know how to web design? as in layouts? gosh I've been trying to make one for my blog, but I give up too easily haha

Yeah, I do web layouts :)

I think the easiest way to do it is to start out with a canvas of the entire screen you want to target (widescreen 14.1", or some people design on the old 600x800pixels) - You then sort of add in the stuff you want (logo on the top, bottom, links (if you want the links to be images and not text) and any background you kinda want.

After all that's done, you just use the slice tool and cut up the design (links are cut into separate images so you can click each one, logo gets chopped up to make it a pain to save in one go ;D etc) and Save for Web.

Then it's all the html and css LOL. You try to rearrange everything so it sits flush and position it so it looks exactly like your file in Photoshop. The great thing is that while the coding seems like a pain, everything will eventually slot together, because it made made as a jigsaw puzzle kinda.

I've never tried doing a layout on Blogspot. I usually do all my websites from scratch LOL. But isn't Blogspot just you choose a layout and specify your background colour/ image, top header and maybe a few images/headers on the links side? ;D I know most people would just download em hahaha!

I've like done a little bit of that --; , i just get confused when making "text boxes" , I have to go experiment some more !!~ woot woot !~ .

yep , but you also have the option of doing your own layout via html/css etc .
